Eric Church Delivers Commencement Speech At UNC
Eric Church delivered the commencement address at the University of North Carolina last weekend.
He compared each string on his guitar to a pillar in life.
“When all six are in tune, the chords they make can stop a conversation cold, carry a broken person through the worst night of their life, or make a roomful of strangers feel for three minutes like they’ve known each other forever. If one is off, the whole chord unravels . . . I believe your life runs on this principle.”
Eric also talked about not comparing yourself to others online, and then he ended the speech by singing his song “Carolina”.
Eric was born and raised in North Carolina.
