The Red Clay Strays “Almost Died” On Their Way To The ACMs
The Red Clay Strays said they “almost died” after their private jet malfunctioned while travelling to the ACM Awards.
A piece of the plane’s engine flew off during takeoff, forcing the aircraft to circle for hours before making an emergency landing.
The group described the flight as terrifying, but they were able to safely switch planes and continue their trip.Â
Luckily, the band still made it to the show . . . and it’s a good thing too, because they won Group of the Year.Â
